The long house consists of living quarters, with cooking area, and a sleeping quarters with apartments for each of the chief's dozen or more wives: divided into two sections. The central pillar boasts 14 sets of buffalo horns (only the lower ones visible from this angle)...one for each king in the dynasty.

The smaller front section (shown here) consists of the Kings dining area with cooking facilities for two wives, and his sleeping room. The last King being a Christian and only one wife, but his grandfather had 21 wives and 89 children, similar to previous generations. The wives all live in the larger section of the palace, each having their own area, complete with fire, as all the cooking is carried out individually.
