To and Around Samosir Island, Lake Toba, Sumatera August 2009...

At altitude almost 3000ft the 100km long Lake Toba includes Samosir Island ~ itself about the size of Singapore Island! This is the World's deepest lake being approx. 505m (1,666 ft) deep, and is of course a volcanic caldera. (More information on Lake Toba)
