Our 2009 Expedition to Mount Bromo
Inevitably we visited with Yvonne's Mum in Malang, East Java. For most visitors Malang's chief attraction is as staging-point for trips to the World-renowned spectacular Mount Bromo, 7641ft, (active volcano complex See Map.
It didn't take much persuasion for me to mount our third (or is it fourth?) nocturnal assault on Mount Bromo ~ the dawn rising over it being the main event. (See 2003 album photos elsewhereon this website.). But this trip had the best weather conditions of any to date, so managed some pretty good photos. Enjoy...
